Gennep, Netherlands (12 November 2025):
Drivers from this year’s Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport had the opportunity to visit the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach recently, to take part in an exclusive simulator session as part of a prize package organised by Creventic.

Following on from last month’s Porsche 911 GT3 R test day at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, involving the fastest four drivers from this year’s Michelin 992 Endurance Cup race, four more of the quickest participants secured the chance to drive Porsche Motorsport’s superb full motion simulator.

Situated at the Porsche Development Centre, an impressive 100 hectare site west of Stuttgart in Germany, the simulator sessions offered a great insight into the work done by Porsche Motorsport. Moreover, it was a rare chance for drivers who are not part of a Porsche development programme to experience the facility.

Dylan Pereira, Sebastian Freymuth, Robin Knutsson and Steven Palette were the quartet of Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport drivers who earned the simulator prize and also a tour to see how Porsche race cars are designed, developed and produced.

Each racer began with a 30-minute preparation session to get to know and understand how the simulator operates. From there they each had two further 45-minute sessions to fully experience the simulator and set their best lap times.

Porsche Development Centre was first established in 1971 and has grown significantly since that time – there are currently around 7,500 people working at the site. In addition to the design, electronics and aerodynamic departments, the centre houses testing facilities such as an in-house test track and also a crash test centre.

Dylan Pereira:
“This activity is something I really liked to be part of. It is not something you get to do every day, to be in this kind of full motion simulator. Thanks to Creventic and Porsche Motorsport for this opportunity.”

Sebastian Freymuth:
“It was an extraordinary experience, also to work with the engineers and try out different tyre models and sim settings was really interesting. I am very thankful to have been there, thank you to Creventic and Porsche Motorsport. I’d love to do it again and continue!”

David Vink – Event Manager, Creventic:
“It’s been a fantastic experience for our Michelin 992 Endurance Cup drivers to visit Porsche Motorsport’s world-class facility in Weissach. We’re very thankful to Porsche Motorsport for their support and for giving our drivers this unique opportunity to experience the simulator.”
