Michelin 992 Endurance Cup - Full Event Format For 2025 Instalment

With little more than a month to go until the second annual Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport takes place at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, event organisers Creventic are delighted to reveal the full format of September’s eagerly awaited festival.

Alongside a packed timetable of track action from Thursday, 4 September, through to Saturday, 6 September, when the big 12-hour race itself takes place at the world-famous Ardennes circuit, there are also a wealth of activities for spectators to enjoy within the race paddock.

In terms of the track schedule, the competitors of the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport will participate in two test sessions on the Thursday, with an additional free practice at 10.45 local time on Friday, 5 September, ahead of qualifying.

The grid-determining sessions, which will be live online at Creventic Motorsports TV, begin at 15.30 local time. Following the three regular 15 minute periods, the overall top 10 on the grid will be set during the new Top 10 Grid Shoot-Out at 16.45 local time – again, screened live. Friday’s action for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) drivers will conclude with a night-time practice from 20.50 local.

After a well-deserved rest on Friday night, the 2025 Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport race will get underway at 09.45 local time on Saturday, 6 September, with the full 12 hours of non-stop action again shown live at Creventic Motorsports TV.

In addition to the main event, there will be a strong support package with competition from the Porsche Club Historic Challenge on the Friday as well as two races for the Formula One stars of tomorrow from the Eurocup 3 single-seater championship.

Packed weekend of activity off-track as well as on

Off track, the hugely popular Porsche Paddock Rendezvous returns within the main paddock where an exclusive gathering of exquisite Porsche road cars will take pride of place. Run in conjunction with Porsche Club Francorchamps and www.vierenzestig.nl the experience offers a superb opportunity for Porsche owners to really be at the heart of the weekend’s activities.

Porsche owners will be able to watch the racing from close quarters, explore the whole venue and enjoy the display which is expected to feature over 250 Porsche cars. There will be a special lounge area in the Grand Marquee in the paddock, where vendors will be displaying Porsche memorabilia and incredible artwork. There will also be optional catering and hospitality which can be purchased.

One Porsche Paddock Rendezvous ticket will enable a Porsche owner to park their car in the dedicated display zone, will provide grid access ahead of the 12-hour race, grandstand seating, a coffee voucher and a Porsche Club Francorchamps goodie bag!
